The 4th Annual WNW Holiday Party: Recap

Working Not Working December 23, 2015

The 4th Annual WNW Holiday Party: Recap

The Working Not Working holiday party began with a simple goal: give freelancers their own office holiday party since they never get invited to them. Four years and many festive GIFs later, we're proud to say that this was our biggest and best yet.

The party was creative directed by WNW Members Dark Igloo who took this year's theme of "Naughty Not Naughty" to heart (anyone who saw our Instagram knows what we're talking about). The big hit of the night was without a doubt GIF Dance Party, who transformed the 700 guests into GIFs and projected them onto the surrounding screens. You can re-live the sweaty booty shaking and create your own GIF Dance Party here.

No holiday party would be complete without a few gifts, so WNW founders Justin and Adam played Santa and handed out a selection of gift boxes, each containing a crumpled up note with a special prize. Our friends at Shake Shack also got into the spirit when they delivered 500 freshly made beef (and 'shroom) burgers to the room full of hungry creatives. People went nuts.

Shout out to DJ's Darling Chuck and No One Likes Us for bringing the beats and a special thank you to our sponsors for supporting the creative community and our love of partying. In particular, Mount Gay Rum, ClassPass, VML, Breather, RIAD, Sound Lounge, Nice Shoes, The Hoxton Hotel and Airbnb. And of course Rekorderlig, Narragansett, Newcastle, and Lagunitas for keeping guests well hydrated throughout the night.

Lest we forget, a big thank you to all our members and friends who continue to inspire us with your creative work, your dedication to the community and your dance moves. See you in the New Year!
