The Top Companies WNW Creatives Would Kill to Work for Full-Time 2015

Whether it’s millennial zeitgeist or that the internet has set us free, there's no doubt that freelancing has become easier and more people are doing it. It's why we built Working Not Working. Then a funny thing happened: we started to see many of our freelance members go back to full-time. To find out which companies could tempt our community to give up their independent lifestyle, we sent out a survey last year and learned a lot.

So this year, we did it again. Out of the 195 companies our members cited, this is the list of the most popular. Given that Working Not Working represents the world's best creative talent (we accept less than 10% of applicants), our members can provide a unique perspective on the most desirable places to work across advertising, design, animation, production, media, tech and the many other industries prioritizing creativity.

In a follow-up survey, we asked WNW members why they would go full-time and which factors they value most when making the decision. The most frequent and most emphatic response was—the people. The draw of a team was stronger than pay or perks. As one member put it, "I'd trade salary for a batch of lateral-thinking, risk-friendly, smart people in a heartbeat.”

It always comes down to who you are working with, not just who you're working for. Another member summed it up best, “Follow people, not companies.”
