Jon Burgerman Leads the WNW Community in a Virtual Doodling Class

WORKING NOT WORKING

Working Not Working Member Jon Burgerman is a UK-born, NYC-based artist instigating improvisation and play through drawing and spectacle. He is a purveyor of doodles and is often credited and referenced as the leading figure in the popular ‘Doodle’ art style.

He’s also a really nice guy. Last week, Jon led the WNW community in an hour-long virtual doodling class. Participants joined the video call, armed with paper, pens, pencils, paint, and many more tools that don’t only start with the letter “P.” We could go on about how great this was, but instead, we’ll let the work speak for itself.

You can learn more about the prolific Jon Burgerman by clicking the button below. His work contains boundless energy, spontaneity, and a healthy dose of chaos. Not bad chaos. The positive kind we could all use a little more of these days. Jon's work offers a good manual on the importance of ripping up a manual. If you’re a creative, get loose. If you’re not a creative, yes you are. Get loose.
