Allyship and Action: A Summit and Pledge to Fight Anti-Racism in Ad Land

WORKING NOT WORKING

"We don’t want anyone on the sidelines during this moment and in the future."

We’ve partnered with Palette Group & the Avail List and together, we’re excited to present to you their next virtual summit: the Allyship & Action Summit. The Allyship & Action Summit will be a source of information on allyship and provide tangible next steps on anti-racism in ad land for all. There will be workshops and talks designed for scalable and sustainable action.

The summit will be livestreamed June 18, 2020 from 12:50 pm ET - 4:05 pm ET on YouTube (or RSVP below to join the Zoom.) Speakers will include industry leaders from companies like Microsoft, Translation LLC, TBWA, David&Goliath and SATURDAY MORNING, covering subject matter, such as:

- How the fuck do we turn white leaders into allies?
- A Black Agency Founder: Stories of Good and Bad Allyship
- Unpacking beliefs about race

It’s free and for everyone to join who is willing to learn, commit to do the work, and take action. We hope to see you there.

REGISTER for the Summit

As part of this initiative, we also invite you to take The Allyship & Action Pledge, which holds corporations, start-ups, and agencies accountable for creating a new equitable industry. The platform will provide transparency into companies’ workforce diversity and onto projects’ staffing plans. It will also serve as a directory for creatives, marketers, and makers all over the world.

Take the Pledge
