WORK: NAT GEO WILD
WNW Member #3159 Greg Gunn, a full-timer at Blind, directed a series of animated ID's for tv network Nat Geo Wild. The goal was to focus on the "wild" aspect of National Geographic's sibling channel. The 10-second animations shift from frogs hopping off waterfalls, to orangutans swinging from vines, to deep sea fish narrowly escaping sharks, all from the animals' perspective. We love how Greg captures Geo Wild's engaging personality in his bright and frenetic style. He lets us into the process with his preliminary sketches all the way through GIFs.
