WNW + BBH Summer Happy Hour: Recap
WORKING NOT WORKING
We recently moved our LA office from Venice to West Hollywood and needed to properly celebrate the move. So we teamed with our officemates BBH LA to throw a happy hour in our new digs in support of one of our favorite non-profits, Safe Place For Youth. There were tacos, drinks, and a DJ set by Aaron Byrd thanks to our partner Barking Owl. As the sun set and the day's heat burned off, people naturally gravitated onto our 3,000-square-foot roof deck. It was a great opportunity for Working Not Working Members, local creatives, and influencers to connect with each other, the WNW team, and one of Los Angeles's premiere agencies face-to-face.
Our Los Angeles community is strongly rooted in both the advertising and film worlds, so it was great to provide a platform for serious talent from both industries to connect. We also enlisted celebrated photographer Elizabeth Weinberg to take portraits for partygoers and the line didn't let up the entire night. If you had your portrait taken by Elizabeth, you can download it here.
Shout-out to Tito's Handmade Vodka and Pomp & Whimsy Gin for the libations. And heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered donations at the door to support our friends at Safe Place for Youth, especially BBH for their generous support. Together, we raised $1,000 and 100% of that has been donated to SPY.
