Cultivator Invites 28 NYC Creatives to Tell Their Stories in a Bold New Way—With Nike Sneakers

WORKING NOT WORKING

“Every summer in NYC there are moments where sport and culture collide. We've enlisted the help of NYC creatives to design sneakers that celebrate the energy and the inspiration that comes from the city we love.” Partnering with Nike for the launch of NYC By You is Cultivator, a platform where creative people can tell their story through a unique medium—sneakers. The 28 limited edition sneakers are only available for two weeks. They drop today, August 19th, and will be gone after Labor Day. Quantities are also limited so get yours now.

B2 FERA Element React 55

WNW Member Fernanda Alcocer Schmidt - Fashion Designer / Creative Director

“I grew up in Bolivia dreaming about life in the land of creative freedom. I always knew I'd have to work hard to earn my spot in NYC. It's worth it to be part of the energy that flows thru the city & breeds fresh ideas, encouraging growth beyond your wildest expectations. The B2 tourist visa got me to this city as an “alien,” but I’ve never felt more at home.”

“First Gen” Nike Air Max 270 React

WNW Member Rich Tu - Artist/Designer/Podcast Host

“The First Gen is inspired by the colors of oxidized metal, common in many countries around the world and present in The Statue of Liberty. The podcast "First Generation Burden" was created as a platform for the immigrant community to acknowledge the beauty of our homelands, and to display our differences with pride and reverence. Long live the First Gen.”
