VCU Brandcenter and Working Not Working Partner for Virtual Recruiter Session Week

WORKING NOT WORKING

If this was any other year, recruiters from top agencies, companies, and consultancies would be flocking to Richmond, Virginia to meet with the newest graduates from VCU Brandcenter, one of the most prestigious institutions for advertising, marketing, and creative problem-solving. But this isn’t like any other year.

The Class of 2020 now faces a unique challenge in the transition from education to a creative career. We know our creative community and existing platform is already equipped to both help these graduates to be discovered and provide community resources to get them through this crisis and onward in their creative journey. So it was a no-brainer for Working Not Working to team-up with VCU Brandcenter.

To kickstart this partnership, we’ve officially launched a weeklong virtual recruiter session on the WNW platform. Over the past month, the graduating class of just over 100 students has been putting together their portfolios, housed within their own section of Working Not Working. Now, recruiters have the chance to discover, chat with, and hire any and all of these up-and-coming creatives. This newest class joins the more than 250 alums of VCU Brandcenter that are already part of the WNW community.

This 5-track Class of 2020 includes Art Direction, Copywriting, Creative Brand Management, Experience Design, and Strategy. All registered Virtual Recruiter Session Week attendees will receive a list of links to the Class of 2020 portfolio websites as well as a link to review the Class of 2020 profiles on the Working Not Working platform.
