Red Wing & Droga5 Rally More than 50 Brands to Advertise Jobs Not Sales This Labor Day

WORKING NOT WORKING

American shoe company Red Wing and ad agency Droga5 have launched a Labor Day initiative to help the 25 million Americans currently suffering from unemployment. Labor Day is a creation of the labor movement and is supposed to be dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. With #LaborDayOn, Red Wing and Droga5 aim to rightfully shift the focus back to the workers and away from the discounts now synonymous with the holiday.

We encourage all WNW brands to post their open roles and help reclaim the true meaning of Labor Day. To participate, simply post your open job opportunities on your social channels and add the hashtag #LaborDayOn. This campaign includes downloadable templates which make it easy to get involved.

The list of companies joining #LaborDayOn so far includes General Mills, New Balance, Burger King, Sleep Number, Johnsonville, Land O’Lakes, and plenty more.
