Work With GMUNK

WORKING NOT WORKING

Design director Bradley G. Munkowitz, better known as GMUNK, is a creative who appears to exist on several planes. That’s a credit to his unyielding curiosity and desire to learn, as well as his ability to stretch himself across various platforms. His work has traversed an array of mediums like installations, short films, music videos, title sequences, print exhibitions, and commercials, all from the axis of his own textural, light-filled, and energetic design aesthetic.

A fusion of sci-fi themes, psychedelic palettes, and practical in-camera-effects, GMUNK’s projects explore themes of identity, metaphysics and human’s relationship with technology. “You learn these really powerful tools. You should try to do something really unique and really completely individual to your own sensibilities.” That’s not to say that he exists in isolation. GMUNK finds no greater joy than discovering what strange concoctions combined talents can yield.

In this episode of Work With, a film series from Working Not Working that introduces you to the creatives behind the work, GMUNK buys you a one-way ticket to an enigmatic, atmospheric, and metaphysical reality.
