WORKING NOT WORKING

Some creatives are brimming with so much personality that their projects might as well have their name written all over them. What's in a name? In the case of China-born, New York-based art director and designer Zipeng Zhu, quite a lot. After a short stint as "Phil" upon his arrival, the one-and-only Zipeng fully embraced his inner exuberant child and made a lasting name for himself in the creative industry.

Zipeng's colorful, energy-bursting aesthetic has been delivered to clients like Coca-Cola, Adidas, Netflix, Spotify, Microsoft, and The New Yorker. An SVA grad and Sagmeister&Walsh alum, Zipeng now runs his own creative studio Dazzle. In this primary color-infused installment of Work With, a film series from Working Not Working that introduces you to the creatives behind the work, Zipeng takes us on a tour of his everyday "razzle-dazzle musical."
