IN THE EAST RIVER
WNW Member #2623 Archie Lee Coates IV and Jeffrey Franklin of Playlab, Inc plan to turn the East River into a body of water that people can, and want to, swim in with Plus Pool. The initiative, in collaboration with Dong-Ping Wong, is featured in Time Magazine's The 25 Best Inventions of the Year 2013. The idea of Plus Pool is to create a floating swimming pool in the East River. Plus Pool is expected to open in the summer of 2016.
