JOEL KIMMEL CELEBRATES THE DANCE MOVES OF CAM NEWTON
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is as creative with his celebratory dance moves as he is maneuvering out of the pocket and throwing touchdowns (except against the Broncos defense, apparently). And while he only gets paid to do one of those things, he clearly practices both. ESPN enlisted talented illustrator and WNW Member #1213 Joel Kimmel to show off some of his own skills and illustrate five of Cam's signature dances.

WORK: NEWCASTLE CRASHES DORITOS CAMPAIGN
Last year, WNW members #1332 Dan Kenneally, #4167 Ryan Raab, and Droga5 helped Newcastle fake its way into the Super Bowl ad arena with "If We Made It." The main spot, which featured a foul-mouthed Anna Kendrick, addressed the fact that Newcastle couldn't afford to pay for a Superbowl slot. Adweek called it the Best Ad of 2014.
Well the big game is only a few weeks away and now the whole gang is back for another round. Again, Newcastle can't afford the Super Bowl, but this time they're using Doritos' "Crash the Super Bowl" contest to sneak into the conversation. The ad repeatedly pokes fun at itself because "that's comedy that everyone could enjoy." Newcastle continues to wear mock-desperation like a badge and is owning it.

SUPER BOWL 2014
Two WNW members had a hand in making the #2 most popular commercial of Super Bowl XLVII. Art Director Grant Piper (#2607) and Copywriter David Roth (#2608) worked with ARGONAUT to make this year's Super Bowl spot for VW. Less than a week after the game it already has over 16 million views, only trailing some commercial with a horse. Directed by Tom Kuntz and music by Giorgio Moroder.
